The Hellywood Partial Lacewig is a special hair piece. It is designed in such a way that the healthy hair that remains and the hair work are integrated so that they form a whole together. The integration of your own hair with the hairpiece provides a firm hold and ensures safe wearing comfort. The Hellywood Partial Lacewig is suitable for people with frontal fibrosing alopecia, the form where hair is missing from the front, back and sides. Hellywood Haircollection adjusts the hair work for people with other forms of baldness.

The Hellywood Partal Lacewig is handmade and from natural hair. During the design process, we make sure that we follow your own hairline, so that your hairpiece looks “like real”. You do not have to fear the wind or storm, your hair system is firmly secured. The integration of your own hair with the partial hair system provides a secure hold and ensures safe wearing comfort.

Patent

Ivonne Held, the owner of Hellywood Haircollection, invented the Hellywood Partial Lacewig herself and obtained a patent for it because it is unique. It is a partial hairpiece with an opening in the middle that offers space for your own hair. The Hellywood Partal Lacewig covers hairless areas on the head. It has been specially developed for people with frontal fibrosing alopecia.

The Hellywood Partial Lacewig is available in all standard colors and lengths and from smooth to curly hair. The basic sizes of the cap are small, medium and large; you can also have the cap made to measure. We are happy to give you personal advice during an introductory meeting.

Living with alopecia

Alopecia is a serious form of unwanted hair loss. The causes of unwanted hair loss are diverse. Chemotherapy often leads to hair loss. Regular use of certain medications can also lead to hair loss. For example, blood pressure medications and diabetics are known to have hair loss as a side effect. Strong emotions, sadness, stress and pressure to perform can also lead to hair loss. It happens that during menopause women experience hair loss, usually the beginning of frontal fibrosing alopecia. Unprofessional hair treatments can eventually result in hair loss. Anyone can get alopecia, it is not tied to age or gender.
